Social and Community Care

At Modernform, we are not only doing our business. We make commitment to build a relationship between ourselves, the society and the environment so that all can be nurtured with strength and stability. We aim to do business while making sure that the society and the environment is well taken care of. This has led to our active collaboration in environmental and social governance (ESG), which is one of our main policies being implemented in tandem with business development for a growing organization. In this regard, projects to provide social support and environmental conservation in various areas are constantly created and run with relevant stakeholders to cover all sectors.

Sharing Dream, Sharing Love

This Sharing Dream, Sharing Love project represents an activity through which Modernform donates furniture and learning materials to schools that reflects our commitment to children’s education since we have actively committed to create a joyful learning environment to Thai students for a long time. Furniture made of materials left from production processes is donated along with ready-made furniture in normal conditions available in our warehouses is given to schools suffering from the lack. This reflects the principle of effective use of resources. The use of leftovers such as wood left from cutting processes also reflects the principles of sustainable consumption and production, as we take into consideration scarcity of resources so that they can be used for their maximum benefit.

7R: Green Lifestyle

The 7R principle refers to Reduce, Reuse, Refill, Return, Repair/Repurpose, Replace and Recycle to reduce plastic pollution and to be part of the circular economy. In other words, we strive to minimize waste and to maximize the use of natural resources to reduce those destined to landfill.

Thanks to the principle, we actively cultivate a mindset of waste seperation and environmental concern of the entire organization. We campaign for waste recycling of PET bottles, paper and aluminum so that the waste can be sent to organizations handling the recycling to maximize its benefit.

In 2021, we organized the “sharing PET bottles to help our doctors” campaign, which encouraged employees to donate clean PET bottles destined for the production of Level 2 reusable PPE suits for medical professionals to help them work more safely in Thailand’s Covid-19 pandemic situation. This reflects an effective and maximized use of resources under the CE principle. PET bottles were donated to the Less Plastic Thailand Group via the Suan Luang District Office to produce 922 PPE suits thanks to collaboration of the entire staff.
